Professional Summary
I am a professional educator with two decades of experience in K-12-higher education, specializing in language teaching and literacy. I have taught all grades 7-12 and in higher education for grades 13-14. My expertise in building strategic relationships, designing curriculum, organizing learning, and managing complex projects and teams has been shaped and developed throughout my career–spanning across three states. My goal in teaching and learning is to cultivate relationships with stakeholders at all levels. In my experience, I have managed different student groups and worked on a variety of teams in various settings. In these roles, I manage simultaneous projects in an efficient way–seeking to drive growth in literacy-based skills of reading, writing, and speaking and paying attention to close details and efficiency of implementation. Comfortable with ed-tech, I am adept at applying innovative programs and strategies to reach my learning goals– be it in working with students or working as a team with fellow colleagues and staff. I am known for my creativity in developing innovative classroom lessons, and I have experience organizing school events.
I am dedicated to supporting my stakeholders– student, community, peer, or leadership, in refining and executing long-term strategies and goals in a team setting. I seek a like-minded company whose goal is to provide quality learning experiences and excellence in all they do to their stakeholders. I am comfortable with an ever-changing and fast-paced working environment, managing many different tasks in an efficient way in and out of the classroom. I seek to gain corporate experience where I can apply my talents and skill-set. I look for growth and innovation in a company that I can grow and learn from and expand my experience and professional knowledge. My goal is to put my vast professional experience and expertise to work in a corporate environment and “educating” in a different capacity.
